New Moon in Cancer

New Moon in Cancer, 29th June 2022 at 7 Degrees 23’.

The New Moon is the time to put your wishes and intentions out there to the Universe!

New Moon in Cancer. Cancer is in water element, it is a nurturing, protective, family, home-oriented, tenacious, sensitive and imaginative sign. During this new moon, we could checking in with ourselves, if we have taking care of ourselves enough? Have I been vulnerable to share our feelings with our loved one, with our family and our friends?

Cancer is in the cardinal mode - we could think of if there is anything that you like to initiate, and ready to take the challenge, to get on top of things. Cancer can be neurotic and smothering. If you know where (house) the planet fall in the Cancer in your chart, you could get the idea and examine the Cancer energy in that sphere of life. The new moon is 7 degrees 23’ Cancer, we can reflect on the sabian symbol that the new moon is in for example, the new moon is in a sabian symbol of two rabbits dressed in clothes and on parade - it could be a good idea finding a guide, modelling ourselves on a guide, by copying a master’s attitudes, beliefs, gestures and words we can mastery ourselves.

After you have set the intention, it might be a good ideal to hold a moonstone or crystal for a new moon meditation, to release the attachment.

The Cancer season marks the beginning of summer and just brought us the summer solstice on 21 June last week, the door to the second half of the year is opened. We could review the intentions, goals or new moon commitment that we have set in Aries New Moon early this year at 11 degree 31’ (Spring Equinox on 1st April). have you taken the action to make a step closer, or do you have to make adjustment about it?

We can harness the new moon energy by uncovering our emotions, making a comfortable home, cook a family meal, gathering with family or friends that like family to you. Practicing self-care, to build a relationship with your inner child, especially if you have neglected her. Nurture and nourish and be very gentle to yourself.

Bring a journal and a pen, find a quiet place. Ask yourself questions, for example:

  • Are you in touch with your inner child? what kind of relationship do you have? how might you improve it?

  • Do you have fulfilling outlets for your nurturing? Your imagination? if not how might you develop them more fully?

  • Is there something that you long to do, but it’s outsides your comfort zone or not “approved” by your family? Journal about what is might feel like to do it anyway?

  • Do you find hard to love your body .especially your belly? Put one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly, take a deep breath, feel the belly is coming up while you taking a breath in and going down while you exhaling. Its good way to connect to our body.

Set a new moon affirmation:

I AM SAFE IN ALL RELATIONSHIPS, AND I GIVE AND RECEIVE LOTS OF LOVE.

- Louise Hay
